Support City Lodge, support golf development

The City Lodge Group of Hotels is South Africa's leading hotel chain. The group has 43 hotels across the country, situated from Potchefstroom to Pinelands.

The City Lodge Group has also been one of the SA Golf Development Board's (SAGDB's) leading sponsors for a number of years. Through providing free accommodation, it has made it possible for the SAGDB to send top players to compete in tournaments far from their homes.

Through a novel initiative, the group has also made it possible for anyone to pledge support for the SAGDB by booking a stay at any Road Lodge, Town Lodge, City Lodge or Courtyard hotel online. Any guest that books a room on the City Lodge website can choose for the group to make a donation to one of its chosen charities. This is at no cost to the guest.

This allows for all golf lovers to support the growth of the game while enjoying the renowned service at any City Lodge hotel.

City Lodge recently handed over a cheque to the SAGDB for the latest round of donations made through its website. The funds will be put towards supporting the SAGDB's coaching programmes across the country.

Guests booking their stays at City Lodge hotels online will also always receive a special rate. It is cheaper to book rooms over the web than by calling hotels directly.

The group also has an online incentive programme called The Lodger Club. Guests can sign up at no cost, and will be rewarded with points for every stay booked online. These points you can be redeemed for free nights at various hotels.
