A foot up on Youth Day

The SA Golf Development Board (SAGDB) in Eastern Province held its annual Youth Day Challenge on Tuesday 16 June 2009 at Humewood Golf Club. This event has become a highlight of the year for the youngsters in the programme.

A number of children who played in the day were given Oakley golf shoes through a sponsorship that was arranged by one of the SAGDB's mentors in the region, Graeme van der Nest (far left in picture)of the Humewood Golf Shop. Graeme and the Humewood Golf Club have been ardent supporters of the development programme for a number of years, and their support is greatly valued.
