| Cedric and Jacquin top Boland u/23 selection | |

Two of the SAGDB's most promising graduates have been selected for the Boland u/23 team for the third successive year. 22-year old Cedric Rooi from Worcester and 21-year old Jacquin Hess from Robertson were ranked first and second on the Boland u/23 order of merit when the team was chosen for this year's inter-provincial event. |

The 2011 Boland u/23 Championship in Ceres proved to be a showcase for the work being done by the SAGDB. Past and present players in the SAGDB's programmes in Boland and Southern Cape turned in an incredibly positive showing to take home most of the prizes at the event. |

Rushane Peters knew he would be up against it when he entered the Fish River Sun Junior Open this March. With the top U-14 players in the Eastern Cape competing, the SAGDB player from Port Elizabeth knew he would have to bring his A-game to the Fish River Sun Country Club if he wanted to make an impression. |
